Christmas project

I have three balls of 'Big Pin Knitting' x 50g each. I want to make a scarf for my best friend for Christmas, but don't know whether to knit or crochet. I think I'd like it to twist ...

Oh, I should mention that I've never crocheted (and can't even spell it !!!) before and only know basic knitting stitches (can cast on / off, knit and pearl).

The label says 'ideal for scarves' 50% polyamide and 50% polyester, 35m per ball.

The yarn is stringy with 'blobs'. Sounds good huh, I really know how to sell it LOL.

Thoughts and suggestions very welcome and a pattern or guidance would be even better.

Plain knit usually works, great for a quick knit or if you're inexperienced. Just found a site that sells this yarn and it says cast on 20 stitches and knit 3 balls . Smile
