Coffee

I have re-found REAL coffee.  I turfed out my coffee maker and have become addicted to the stuff.  Not only does it taste better than the instant coffee but the house smells like a ' Costa coffee' shop. Not to much bother either as once it has been made it lasts a while so no messing around.

i've not had fresh coffee for years. Now what I'd like for Christmas (hint hint) is a cappuchino maker............ Wink

i occasionally get out my caffetiere and have a shot .....i do like a good cup of coffee when i have one but now never seem to sit down long enough to have a real cup.....

When we were in Swindon my friend round the corner used to make the best coffee ever with his cappucino maker. After J was born he brought me one round Very Happy

On the odd occasion I have coffee it has to be beans, freshly ground! Generally, we only keep beans (Equal Exchange - Organic Sumatran)in the house and Mr Kathy is the coffee maker.  Very Happy

How often do you descale him? Confused
Kathy

Well that's the beauty of that type of gadget, he doesn't need descaling. As Nanny says, cheaper in the long run..........................

Laughing  Laughing  Laughing tee-hee ... sounds like I'm the only coffee adict then!   Cool Can't tick without it ... but have discovered I should not drink it in the evening if I want a full nights sleep!!  Rolling Eyes

We've tried all types of coffee maker, but have found that the caffitiere is best for us ... both drink it black - with croissants or home-made granary toast and home-made marmalade  Very Happy

Try decaff in the evenings.  You can get it in al the favourite makes that you would normally use.  I can't drink ordinary in the evenings as it does the same to me, but decaff works!
