today our dog snapped at my grandaughter, I think she`s trying to be dominant but I dont know how to stop it. As soon she done it, she went back to my grandaughter to " say sorry " she does go for feet occasionally, I really need some advice please

Your GD most not look or stroke the dog when she comes back to her after snapping because in a dog's mind your GD has submitted.
Good old Cesear would say, no eyes, no contact and no names. So therefore your GD most not look at the dog at all, no stroking, cuddles on the sofa/bed etc or feeding it etc
You dog needs to learn the GD comes above him/her, however I find that a coke bottle with a few stones in and the shook at the dog when it's naughty works a treat.
Time will show your dog that he/she is not above your GD.
My dog always takes command of the front door, but I only have to show her the bottle and she moves away, perhaps away by 3 rooms. But she still tries it on and everytime she is told 'away' (into the conservatory) or 'up', meaning up the stairs and then to lay down so that we can do what we want at the front door.
Good luck

why did it snap ?what was the gd doing?if she was there minding her own buisness and it snapped then you have to be extreamly carefull if however she was pulling the dogs tail then its understandable.
nanny-now and forever
i agree that the dog is trying to dominate and say "i am in charge, you are below me." there is no need for that.
i am a cesar convert
i use his methods now and my dogs have changed a lot, they weren't bad before but since i have walked them purposefully every morning and not let them go through doors first etc, they are even better
