Favorite bird for WinterBeing that "Hogwarts School of Magic" is in England, I thought I'd let you see one of my favorite past times during the cold days of winter. Hedwig, Harry Potter's Owl is a Snowy Owl, usually found in the far reaches of the north country. However, each winter up around my Mom's, if we're lucky we get to see a few of the Owls "down south" for a snack or two.
Here are two photos from last winter - Can't wait until they head back down this way in another month or two (Makes the cold and feet of snow on the ground worth it).
