Fingerless Mitts

I did just post this pattern on the daily chat page but thought it would be useful posting it here. It's the one I usually use but I sometimes change bits of it (like my baking!). Perhaps a much longer rib so it comes further up the arm. Leave out the pattern and do different kind of rib, things like that.

That's really nice Kathy, thanks for posting it.

I've got a pair a bit like that, with no fingers at all, but not with the fancy cabled bit.

I must finish the Christmas knitting list first..... Laughing

Thanks Kathy I have printed of some copies, will it work with double knit wool do you think? I thought i would take some in to the ladies who knit gloves for the shoebox appeal Smile

I've used it with lots of different wools, just adjust your needle size accordingly.
The pair I just finished was with wool that was just a little too fine so they were a bit "gappy", I got Mr Kathy to put them on then I semi felted them round his hands, they turned out really well but I've given them to the recipient now and forgot to take a photo. Rolling Eyes
