It is basically a site where you can advertise to give your unwanted items away for free rather than take them to the tip, so far I have got rid of an old dog bed and water butt and gained to chicken coops and runs, it has local groups all over, Just type freecycle into your search engine and keep recycling that junk! I've met some lovely people since I joined too, been in it over a year now and it has grown to 4607 members (Edinburgh). The messages are all simple, they either say Offered - "Item offered" Taken - "Item Taken" Wanted - "Item Wanted" in the subject heading, then the details in the main body of text. There are lots of guidelines on how to use it with tips for safe practise. You can choose to recieve every single message or 1 message with a daily digest if you don't want too many emails.
