Another dull day here, but at least it's not raining. I had a lovely long walk with the dogs this morning - no chance of bumping into the nasty collie as everyone at the farm was away, so we could relax and enjoy it.
Today I'm making a start on telling our customers that I'm leaving - that'll be rather odd...

quiet here on the farm as well i guess, much appreciated after yesterday
fairly grey day with rain now and again
the big thing today though is that mr nanny and i are off to a black tie reception next friday in order to collect a cheque for 3 grand from the ray gravelle charitable trust...very nice
but a big panic when they said i had to wear a DRESS and all that accompanies the wearing of same....things like high heels and tights and make up...i don't have any of those things any more.....
so next monday i am off on the bus to carmarthen on my own to try and find someting to wear.....
mr nanny has the suit he took to the falklands last year so he's ok though he now tells me i shall have to buy him a shirt while i am out....
oh well, it will be an adventure i guess but one i could really do without having to pay out for....i can't think i will wear the stuff again after last friday unless i get invited to buckingham palace...not likely in the nest year or so i have to say....

Check out the charity shops - up here, they're putting out all the Christmas Party frocks an' that. You never know.
And I had to post photos of my posh frock do...ahem
