Friday 30th march

Still in the Kitchen.

If you have blinds or curtains then sort them out. Wipe the blinds, each slat, or the fixings. Do the curtains need a quick wash? Get them down and do them then.

Mine have recently been washed and have some of the pulling up strings hanging down, so I am going to sort them out.

Before you hang them back up give the windows a quick clean too. Very Happy
Kathy

Embarassed Embarassed I never put any back up after the windows went in, I suppose I could clean the windows though!

mine don't even open, or at least the kitchen ones don't, never have - don't have kitchen curtains...........

the ones upstairs are pretty grotty, old sash windows, one cord on one window broken so can't open that one and i washed the curtains not that long ago

might get round to changing the disgusting old curtains that were in our bedroom when we moved in to the ones that i brought with with me that are still sitting on top of the tall boy staring at me................

the flat roof extension on the front of the house means that i will have to shimmy along that to get to clean the outside of the windows there
Kathy

According to Greenlady "shimmy" is a salsa move, something to do with wiggling your derrierre, make sure you're heels aren't too high if you're doing it across a flat roof................
Becki

Only just finished doing the cupboard doors Very Happy but I haven't got curtains or blinds. I've been very virtuous tonight and cleaned inside the fridge and cleaned the container where all the toothbrushes go.

That's my husbands motto!
Cabbagepatch

I firmly believe that the best thing to keep on top of everything is to get up early and spend thirty minutes cleaning before going to work.

I do this every day and my house is absolutely stunning...
