Thanks for the reminder Libby - I saw a trailer for this last evening and thought looked pretty interesting. We'll certainly be watching (if we remember!!).

I read the title and remembered the time I found what I thought were tomato plant seedlings growing in pots on no.1 son's bedroom windowsill....

That sounds interesting.
Although I thought the same as CP!

The powers that be will probably ban any remedy that works, like they're doing and trying to do with many medicinal herbs. Sounds like a good programme though.

I actually got to watch this last night, and can understand why you all like him. Simple but effective.
My neighbour has a conker tree, so may have a go at that, I have a small varicose vein, which doesn't hurt but I don't like it!!
He has brought out a book which I think could be a good buy and not tooooooo expensive! Tempting

Even my hubby likes this programme, he suggested I got the book.
Aqui is this the book you have that you mentioned in the other thread!!!

It is indeed Libby. My sister bought it for my birthday.
It's got lots of recipes in it, I suspect the ones from the programme and at the end of the book it lists lots of medicinal and their uses and has more recipes (which I don't think are from the programme).
I find it interesting an useful. You can probably get more comprehensive books, but it's still got lots of useful stuff in it for relative beginners!
We (J and I) watched it earlier online and after we watched anything, J always says whatever the prog is "ended" or "finished" or "bye bye". He usually says the end of the programme name. So anyway, he's been going around most of the morning saying "bye bye drugs", "drugs finished" etc. It's a good job we're not going out today!!!
