your dogs aren't happy at all are they kathy?
ozzie has come a long way in 2 years and rosie looks great
mine are all out for the count after a lengthy game of chase the ball in the barn this afternoon
mr nanny throws it one way and they run and then throw it the other way and they run and somebody gets hold of it
the barn is 150 ft long by the way so they get up quite a head of steam
does a greyhound a power of good

When the weather's like this I'd love a big barn to exercise the dogs in.

to be fair they had already done their bit over two fields both very muddy and squelchy so running up and down the concrete of the barn helped to dry them off......one of the fields they do is at a 35 degree angle so any running up and down there works the muscles as much as running up and down the seashore does for yours
i love it when they are able to run and play like that, it does your heart good to see the joy in their faces

Fabulous picture Kathy - they look like they might have got their shiny black noses in a craft shop!
I know what you mean about the running nanny - Penny-the-bonkers-lurcher likes to run at full tilt in a huge figure of eight around the field. It's not really fair on Millie-the-plump-person as she can't keep up, but she's learnt to stand in the middle and ambush P-t-b-L on the way past!
