T constantly has a headache (not due to my nagging honest!) it's always behind the same eye too.
He's reluctant to seek help for it, although he does recognise that it's a problem. I think he'd rather treat it himself.
So while I manipulate him into going to the doctors, any ideas for what might help?
I reckon it's either due to stress, tiredness, depression, poor eyesight (he hasn't had an eyetest for years. actually i don't think he has since he was a kid) or because his body has got to rely on painkillers.
Any natural headache remedies? I worry about what damage the pain killers might be doing to him.

I think I would suggest that he saw a doctor. I know that's not what you want to hear, but at least it will get it sorted. x

I would suggest an eyetest because that's what the doctor will suggest!
My sister kept taking painkillers for headaches and eventually realised that the best thing was to put up with the pain for a few days. It worked
Tension in his shoulders could be causing it, how about a good deep massage with relaxing oils, does he do any form of exercise? that could help too.
Hope he feels better soon.

Yes, he needs to find out the cause then wean himself off the pain killers. Sometimes just finding out if there is a problem can be a huge help. I can't take pain killers of any description and use chamomile, to take the edge of any pains. Not sure if it would be enough though if he's used to stronger pain killers.
Actually, I've had a thought, could it be that his body is now used to the pain killers and the headaches are when he doesn't take them? Maybe the original reason for taking them is no longer there, if you know what I mean.

Sinus is another cause of headaches, but think an eye test would be the first thing to get done.

Thanks you've all confirmed what I thought. I have started on the subtle pressure. Thumb screws were not needed, though, as he's suddenly had the brilliant idea to go to the doctors. I wonder where he got that idea from. (Always make them think it's their idea!)

Good Oh! a step in the right direction
