How much????!I found a knitting pattern I'd like to try for a paisley cushion cover. It's meant for Rowan Cotton, but you need 14 balls at £3.50 - £50 for the wool.
Do you think it would work ok if I use DK from my stash instead?

I don't see why not - just remember that wool, as opposed to cotton, is much stretchier, so you'll probably need quite a lot less...

I agree with all the above, I rarely use the "recommended" yarns!
