I am tiredVery very tired.
Saflets managed to sneak into the shed yesterday afternoon whilst I was feeding the chickens and in true labrador style, tucked into the sack of dry dog food
By teatime, she looked like a balloon and was clearly very uncomfortable. I was concerned enough to sleep downstairs to keep an eye on her.
Owing to her upset tummy, I felt obliged to open the window as it was all rather unpleasant. However galeforce conditions here (weather as well as Saff), meant that everything rattled, crashed and banged all night, the wind howled through the window...
and I didn't get a wink of sleep
Needless to say, she is bright as a button this morning

What a naughty dog
We have always kept lurchers who are so good at thievery that we have always had to keep our food in sealed bins so the addition of a labrador hasn't made much difference
Does Saffie 'surf' the kitchen units as well?
I'm glad that she is OK this morning.

labradors are the most greedy of dogs
mine worked her way through part of a bag of sugar beet nuts that expanded in her stomach and she threw them up for hours....she also ate a metal incinerator for heavens sake
a friend of ours had a rescue lab that got into her food bucket and are and ate and ate until her stomach filled up and then her gullet and she had to finally stop when it go to the top of that and she went unconcious
they had to operate to empty her out....
unbelievable creatures
glad she's ok by the way
