I had no idea! How hard this was going to be. I blubbed most of yesterday. I have been keeping busy but all of a sudden, you see something she liked or the two of us would laugh at..off I go again, shes phoned loads and texted. We have always been so close. I am so proud of her she will achieve so much more than I did.
I just wish I could go to sleep and wake up not hurting any more!
Sorry to be so down

awwww, Libby, hugs from me too. I have no experience of this but I'm sure it will get better, give it a little time. You're doing the right thing keeping busy. Is there something you can do for you, a course or workshop in a hobby that you've an interest in or something similar. It won't take your hurt away but it may be a good distraction.

they have to make a life for themselves libby but it does hurt doesn't it
when my son finally left (finally being the word!) but i still cried buckets all day long and felt really guilty about it all
but even he admits now that it was the best thing that could have happened to him............
try and think of it as the beginning of her next life and yours also, it's another phase and can be just as exciting as the previous one.
hae i convinced you yet?

Thank you everyone, when she left on Saturday I said to her 'today is the beginning of the rest of your life' and I really mean it. I have been so exceptionally lucky in having such a close relationship with her, we were always chatting. It has been so quite since she left, neither Mark or Tori are big chatterers!
Anyway, Monday is here, back into routine, always helps, she phoned this morning and had a long chat, when I asked if she missed us she said no, it was like being on holiday! Bless her!
Well I must get on, I didn't manage to do much this week end so am playing catch up, washing, ironing (ugh) must mow lawn before it rains first though!
Thank you all again hugs to you all
