I've knitted 2 'Hugs'!So simple, we call them 'hugs' after the soup advert
cast on between 56 and 60 stitches on 5mm needles, knit until you have the required length. Then sew up from the wrists to the underarm on both sides, hey presto a hug!!!

Very clever Libby.
I reckon could do quite a few of those on the knitting machine, what do you think?

Absolutely! There all the rage at the mo. The girls have put in requests for more!!

Libby, do I assume that these are DK wool. Decided to do a couple for Christmas.

erm??? probably, but they can be any wool you fancy, I'm doing another one at the mo with some gorgeous wool. This time though T wants ribbed cuffs to the elbow and then up and over the shoulders and ribbed cuffs to the wrist the other side, then I may pick up some stitches, once sewn up to make a collar type thing!!
Pics when finished!!
Very easy and simple to do!

Thanks Libby, I also have decided to do about 2ins rib for the cuff. Will make a good addition to the Christmas bundles.
