I found a jar of roasted red peppers in my larder, and dont know what to make with it, any ideas ?

i've not used them, but a few ideas:

whizz up with tomatoes as either soup or pasta sauce
sliced or whole on pizza or in cheese toasties
chop up with other veg as pasta sauce
roast other veg and add to that, serve with pasta or salad or as a side dish

Pilsbury

made a beautiful soup today,
roughly chop a carrot, onion, celery and the red peppers and put in a pan to soften a little in butter.
add a couple of table spoons of tomato paste and mix through.
add a couple of pints of veg stock and simmer for 30 - 40 mins.
blend well and then pass through a seive to remove the bits, return to the pan and bring back to a gentle boil and add salt and especially black pepper and eat
