nanny-now and forever

just that kind of day

this is goodyear one of our 2 tabby cats....he is also known as blob because he is almost the fattest cat in the world

it was all too much for him today, he had to retire to the radiator to sleep his breakfast off

then he decided to sleep through lunch and might just appear in a little while when it is time for his dinner

it's a tough life for a cat here

Laughing  Laughing He does look a tad on the portly side.... bit like our cat fat floss, he weighs a ton.... but I think your kitty might be heavier
Kathy

Laughing  Laughing Wonderful description, just ambling from meal to meal!
lloyd

Hm...I see no pix.........

Ah....now I do..... Very Happy
Libby

I think I would like to come back as a cat in a good home!! Like yours or mine!!! They certainly live the life but maybe not to the max!!!!!! Great puss cat! Very Happy
Bovey Belle

We've got a few like that too - in all winter, out all summer!
Jojo

This was my cat Arnie a bit of a porker as you can see, sadley passed away two years ago,but I would not mind having a life like hers much loved and well fed!!!

god it could be goodyear's sister....
i would like to say it is a tabby trait but if i had a picture of his brother dunlop, you would see it is merely a metabolic thing

and a fear of excercise and fresh air of course
Libby

Awww! look at the way he's sitting! Its funny how some cats have 'real' character and some are just 'cats'!!
Kathy

Laughing  Laughing Lovely!
Jojo

Arnie was a girl but we thought she was male when we got her but the name stuck, and you are right Libby she was a real charactor in a pathetic way, never caught any wild life, got stuck in trees even small ones and had to be rescued, also stole our hearts Confused Yes Nanny there are a lot of look alikes but I don't think you can have a better natured cat than the common Tabby Smile

Sorry Jojo I have to disagree, I think ALL cats have personalities just some are greater than others and it is not necessarily anything to do with what breed they are take a look at Tango, he's half burmese and brimming with character, so laid back he's horizontal!!!

sorry about the size of the pics, photobucket kept crashing my computer when I treid to resize them, tried 3 times then gave up!!!
Cabbagepatch

Lovely photos, not possible to look at them all without having a great big smile  Very Happy

I want to come back as one of those cats!
Kathy

Wonderful!  Very Happy

he looks well chilled i have to say

i think all cats have a personality, perhaps more so than dogs as they are more independent

i wasn't  a cat person till i met mr nanny, he had always had cats at home as his mother bred siamese

didn't really even want one, but one led to two and then three and so on till we are surrounded by them

love them to bits really
Libby

Same here! I love Burmese and will one day get one by rescue or other means!

I love my cats, they all have completely different characters, like wee furry people, I'm sure they understand me when I speak to them and I much prefer them to the two legged race Wink
They also make fantastic body warmers at night time.... Phoenix the ginger kitten is getting tall and slinky now, he's not a wee fuzzy baby anymore... I'm having a hankering for another kitten.... don't read this mother dearest
