Last Day of April (30th)

So May begins tomorrow, not that you would believe it from the weather!!! I'm up early as I've just spent 20 mins freeing a live wren  from my daughters bedroom!!
They have all gone back to sleep, I am now wide awake!!!! Confused

Kathy, I'm not sure how long the accupuncture takes but I have another 10 sessions which I believe we spread out trying to get the distance between them bigger and bigger, then what happens when we run out I have no idea??? I had forgotten how bad this pain was,  Rolling Eyes  thankfully!!!

To wet to do anything outside here, so not sure what to do?
Becki

It's dry here. I was half hoping that it was raining so I would have an excuse not to go to the beach. ( I'm being a coward ) My instructor is going on this one though, so she'll either be able to shout at me or swap if he's naughty Laughing
I'm probably doing Samson a disservice as he has been really good.

Have a great day all Very Happy

Morning all  Very Happy

After such a beautiful day yesterday, it's absolutely chucking it down here - we have a severe weather warning for Northumberland and everything  Shocked  OH will be furious as he was hoping to get on in the garden today...

I have to go into town at lunchtime to go to the bank/pay some bills etc. etc. and then this evening, it's the big I've-just-been-paid grocery shop.  Oh joy...At least now there's a decent supermarket in town I don't have a 70 mile round trip to do it!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Huh, been tipping it down all morning.  Rolling Eyes
Ran E to school and picked up a couple of bits for her party on Sat. She's invited 21 children, plus siblings plus parents and chose Indian/safari as a "theme" whatever that means.   Shocked
Dressmaking class at teatime so better go get dinner prepared just now before I go back to pick E up, thought I'd finished with all that lark when Greenman left school.  Rolling Eyes

Oooooooooo the suns just popped it's head out.............................

What a totally useless day.  It's been raining since mid morning and shows no sign of stopping.  It makes it feel quite cold.

Where do the months fly to these days?  Only seems 5 minutes ago it was christmas.  Let's hope we get better weather in May.

I lied about the weather.

I am cold and wet and off for a hot bath Very Happy

well it started out ok here and in fact i actually took off my fleece and my jumper and briefly went abroad in my polo neck...however this was short lived and by about 3 it was heaving it down again.....

managed to do my net panel though so i have achieved something outside today

but just as i was going round the back after feeding the goats i heard a sound of greyhounds scrapping and so it was back to the vets for another 4 stitches for jack this afternoon.... Rolling Eyes he was a really brave soldier and laid down on the table for them to do it but i do feel sorry for him poor boy, that's the second time he has caught lucy's wrath....i guess one day he will accept that she is top dog and not push his luck....

didn't get home from there till late so another late evening

the junk food is in the oven i am sad to admit but there wasn't time for anything else in the end..............

Yet more rain here, the garden is like a bog.Its also been rather cold.
The only interesting things today have been making a bread pudding with all the bits in the bread bin, and yoga this evening.
I'v done the end of month paperwork for work, visited several residents, and cleaned the communual areas in the bottom flats. The forcast is rain again tomorrow, might just have to sit and knit!

Oh dear.  You sound just like I feel.  I can't get out too much because of my knee and if it's going to rain I won't want to stroll about anywhere, so I think it might be a good idea to get the old knitting out. It's such a  long time since i've done any  that I don't know where i'm up too. long time that I don't know where i'm up too now.

Oh no, poor Jack, what is he doing to keep getting himself bitten?

Just back from dressmaking class and I now have something that is recognisable as trousers. I did lose half a leg at one point and stitched the waistband on back to front, zip in next. Zips aren't my strong point and if I can manage to lose half a leg god knows what'll happen when I try the zip..................

i think it is lucy establishing her dominance every now and again but it is a costly and doubtless painful way of doing it....

this happened with merlin when we first put them together, took the better part of a year for them to all settle in

merlin and jack are a sort of a pair, the gay cavaleros, and lucy is in charge but perhaps jack challenges that every now and again...

i hope they sort it out soon or i shallhave to have a reserved parking space at the vets.....
lloyd

Shame because they are all lovely dogs, and funny how Jack and Merls bonded so well, but Jack and Lucy need more time?...And dogs think humans are weird!! Laughing

i think no more than that lloyd

we had all this before

lucy can be rather.....mercurial in temperment - like all ladies   Cool

i am not worried about it as i am sure it will sort itself out ....99% of the time they are fine

lucy just has t establish that she is in command and that is how dogs do it i guess
