This is a follow-on from a conversation I had with Jesse this morning regarding an operation I recently had.
The operation is called TOT......trans-obtyuary tape, it was for stress incontinence.
I wanted to mention this because it's a fabulous operation.
If any of you ladies out there have this awful condition...then worry not because there is help.
Every time I laughed, coughed and sneezed the condition was very apparent (if you get my drift!) Is an a terrible complaint and very restricting too....sooooo....if you have any problems in this area...remember there is a cure (for most people anyway).
The operation only takes about 20 minutes and is usually done in day surgery. You have to rest for a good 2 weeks after surgery ( I did'nt and had a few problems...but that was own fault) and then carry on as before.
For me it was very liberating...no more pads and clean underwear in my handbag....and I can laugh without crossing my legs!!!

we take these things for granted don't we, until they stop working as they should. after I had J my stomach/pelvic floor muscles were shot for a few days, it was as though all those muscles where paralised. Not pleasant and I was very thankful for them to heal quickly and get back to normal. so pleased your op was a success A

So pleased it's been sorted.
A friend of mine went had that, found it most distressing. It's nice to know there is a cure.
