Leather gardening gloves

No, I'm not growing them!  I tend not to bother with gloves but tonight for example I have been hauling out brambles from the side garden so they have been needed.

I have a lovely pair of leather gardening gloves which have always been a bit tight and uncomfortable.  Am persevering with them and they are gradually "giving" but are still unsupple after three years.

What can I use on them to make them more supple and stretchy?  Thinking linseed oil or something from the tack room.....

I've always used plain vegetable or sunflower oil to soften any hard leather horsey stuff CP, saddle soap for general cleaning.  Smile
