Lilly problemI have some lillys which have grown in big pots in the garden.
a couple of weeks ago they flowered in the most lovely yellow flowers.
Went to have a look at them the next day and although the plant its self is fine and healthy something is eating the petals of the lilly.I did a cheack and couldnt find anything there any ideas?

most likely lily beetles - they are bright red so very easy to spot. Have a good search round, if you find any pick them off and give them a stomping. Their eggs are nasty black sticky gooey things that are on the underside of the leaves. wipe off and pop in boiling water. (sounds like a cookery tip. probably best not to eat them, though!)
