Lopi roving for knitting and felting

As requested!

You knit with it then felt it. It felts really easily into a nice texture but breaks easily so don't tug it hard. Having said that, it's easy to join up again and as it gets felted you don't notice any joins. You can also use it for ready made roving for spinning (CP?), helps to get you into the way of using a wheel without the bother of drafting.

This is where I buy mine from, scroll down the page to "Lopi Roving" then click on the link that says free patterns. The slippers at the top are the same as the ones I've just finished, I'm going to put a bit of decoration on them, not sure what yet though.

For single colour slippers 1 hank is enough, if you want a variegated effect you need to buy 2 contrasting colours but this would make 2 pairs (sorry for stating the obvious!)

Thanks Cathy,I can feel another project coming along in the new year.
