Sadly it is raining so they are staying in their penthouse - but tomorrow it will be sunny, so I will tempt them out if they haven't already braved the ladder!

They are fantastic Lottie, and would be very jealous if I didn'thave some of my own!

Smile Smile I have just had fun and games trying to catch them tonight to put them to bed Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

They are so fast and fly quite high - it was like OK corral Wink

But I am really smitten. This is the first time I have ever had ones I have chosen and young ones at that.

My hybrids were at the end of their 'useful' life and destined for the animal food chain or just death, from a poultry farm - not battery but deep litter farm - but they had another 18 months of free ranging life and a long summer up the allotment bless them.

Dilly Dilly, Pumpkin, and Freckles I adopted - they are gorgeous too, but I have no idea how old they are, and poor Freckles just faded away.

So to have these young babies is a first.

Would love to see your photos too.
