lucky devil!!!My son (whose emigrating to Canada in July) has just left the RAF and wanted to get a job in the meantime, has been offered a job working on the Vulcan that hopefully will be back flying in time for the Falklands anniversary in June. He is so chuffed!!!! I'm very proud too....there has never been a bomber built that is so beautiful. Went to the air show where the last (public) flight took place. They played Cllannad, the theme to Harry's game as it took off and apart from the noise of the engines a strange silence settled over the crowd and believe it or not a lot of tears were shed. I can't wait to see it airbourne again

When they play music at those kind of shows it really can bring tears to the eyes. Sounds as though you had a wonderful day
