try substituting each lemon with a tablespoon of citric acid monohydrate,available from all chemists for about 60p per 100 grams.

I went to get my home made marmalade out of the cupboard this morning, and there was none left! I'm the only one who eats it so it must have been me!!!

Nothing quite like making marmalade in January, takes the chill out of winter.
Very time consuming, not the making of it but the clearing up of sticky mess everywhere afterwards, well in my case!  ).
Then lots of jars to add to the pantry. Oh happy days
