Max - before and after

Max is still technically a foster dog but no new homes are on the horizon so I think he's sending out psychic messages and telling any potential owners to bog off....because he wants to stay here Wink  Laughing

This is when he first arrived

and this was him yesterday

And here are some more photos of the pack

Bovey Belle

What a worried, stressed dog he looked when he arrived.  He looks so happy and relaxed now.  Guess the writing's on the wall - one more won't make much difference will it?  (That's what I say about the cats that arrive here - we currently have 8!)

He just barks at the cats Libby, they take no notice, he does like plenty of exercise but lies quietly when he's in the house.
Libby

Bless him. I would love another dog but I don't think hubby would agree!!! Rolling Eyes

An update as mentioned in the daily thread.
Coco rewrote Max's profile on the rescue forum now that he's had a few months to be assessed properly. If she wants to continue to foster, dogs need to be rehomed as she doesn't have time with full time work to rehabilitate more than one dog at a time. Better to give quality to one and a good home at the end of it rather than end up with a pile of unmanageable dogs.
So, a lovely sounding couple from Ayrshire are coming to see him tomorrow. He is a retired minister and they've always had springers. Their last dog died of old age a couple of years ago and now they feel ready for another one. For people who know Ayrshire it's a doggy heaven, also, they are in most of the time, have no other animals and just visiting grand children. Keep your fingers crossed for him please.  Very Happy
Lizzie

Fingers crossed for Max (although you'll miss him....) - I hope he finds a home as lovely as yours  Very Happy

I've got all of his things ready, and keeping everything crossed that everyone gets on.....half of me hopes that they'll not want him  Crying or Very sad it feels a bit like giving one of your own away, he's been here for so long. But I'll get over it and can keep fostering lots more dogs who are in need.
Cabbagepatch

hugs coco, you know it makes sense ((((((think of him in his new home))))))

and lots of new sad needy hounds coming into your life to be looked after xx
