Check through the bits you use, and write a list that is needed, of supplies.
Do you need more pens / pencils, ink cartridges, labels, envelopes, stamps etc. Put them on the list, and be ready to order on line, or get them when you are out shopping. By checking now you can save the indicission when you are standing in the shop. Also write down the number of the cartridge, as I never remember what the code is when faced with a whole bank of them.

Stationery is all stocked up. We do so little printing that we only order ink cartridges online as we need them, our printer warns us when it's getting low and they deliver quite quickly so no need to keep in stock.

Just bought ink cartridges today - we've got 3 printers and I keep the numbers in the front of my diary. I usually just get them from Argos but have to send off for fax printer cartridges.
