I am giving you this one early, as you really need to do it tonight, ready for tomorrow.
This will let the day start in a more calm way, and set you on the right mentality for the week too, if you continue doing it.
Get the clothes out that you need for the morning, including your shoes.
Does anything need ironing? Do your shoes need cleaning? Do you know where your keys are?
We do this with our own clothes and encourage the children to do it too, with shcool uniform. It saves the mad scramble in the morning, that can really unsettle a child for the rest of the day.

I do this as a matter of course, otherwise I wake up OH, which doesn't go down well!

I have a set of going out to town clothes, hung over the chair, and my horses t-shirt and jeans, chucked on the floor, knickers, socks and shoes nearby. In the winter it is dark when I get up and I have to feel around for my clothes, but this time of year I tend to get up with the sun and can dimly see! I did, however, have one notable occasion when I got dressed in the dark, johds and all, and took Fahly out for a ride, only to discover half way round that I had my knickers on "sideways" and it was extremely uncomfortable to say the least! (Can't put light on as OH sleeps on way after me).
