Monday 12th May

A bit cooler today, quite a breeze, very pleasant! (At the mo!)
Well I sold 2 tomato plants within 1/2 hour of putting them out Very Happy  2 down 58 to go Rolling Eyes think I might have over done it a bit???

I have the grow bags in place in the green house and whilst its a bit cooler I shall plant mine, taking care not to irritate my back.

Hubby finsihed the planting of the jungle just have to cover with bark chippings now.

Even though its cooler remember your sunblock  and hat:D

I have a cross country jumping lesson today, but I'm thinking of cancelling it, as  have woken up with a cold and a sore throat. I was calling the kids dressage tests yesterday and was doing that for about 3/4hr.

Got lots of tidying to do here, if I don't ride.

Have a good day all Very Happy

Morning all  Very Happy

I'm back at work after my lovely week in the sunshine, and it's cool and misty!  Looks like I picked the right week for a holiday  Very Happy

I've loads to catch up on here and at work, so I'm off for a potter round the potting shed before the office gets busy!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

For a reason which I cannot now remember, I spent most of yesterday clearing out the garage....why we hoard soooo much rubbish is a mystery  Rolling Eyes

Glorious sunshine again today  Very Happy

Nice to see you back Jellycat, we've had a "worried" thread going for you!

Don't talk about garages to me CP, I've cleaned ours out god knows how many times since we moved last July. Rolling Eyes

I never got back on the PC yesterday, impromptu party for one of the girls leaving the cafe. We didn't have it here, it was along the road but all the food had to be made and transported along, trestle tables found etc. It was outside with bonfire, fire staffing, poi, drums etc. Poor E is tired out this morning as she was late home!

There's lots of things going on here at the moment, big changes going on, good ones I should add (I can't give details) so please forgive me if I don't get on to post as often. I will post more details when I can, but it does involve new business, horses, therapies amongst other things.

Today I plan to build the dog kennel,  finish painting Wendy's dispensary and sow the sweetcorn.

Have a good day everyone.  Smile

nanny

hi all

skived off yesterday

mr nanny was on his course and i worked outside most of the day after my 'pooter work

it was probably the hottest day yet up here, the sun is quite fierce when it shines because the air is so clear

anyway, mr nanny was a bit on the drag and after we ate, i noticed that midsommer murders was on so that was that

another beautiful day today and i am sitting outside again for half an hour or so.....must go and find the turkeyk i know where she is - on the nest but it is the most inacessible place she could find and you need a machete to get in there

cut the grass again today, the third time in a week, i can almost see the stuff growing again as i type.....the dogs are barking at the ponies in  the field next to the house and the horses taunt them by  running up and down the fence line next to them...most annoying...merlin gets into one of his frenzies and won't listen to a word i say

have just forwarded to mr nanny an e-mail from my brother who is coming to visit from texas in august that says that my mother wants to come as well....i await the screams from mr nanny's study

he ain't gonna be happy.....my mom doesn't realise that this is wales not upstate new york and you can't just drive somewhere like you can there...we are 6-8 hours from the places she will want to visit and mr nanny will not drive her round...mr brother and i can just sort of wander off on foot but mom has to be driven everywhere ....she is still angry at mr nanny for not driving her to the pub one evening........the pub was literally less that a quarter of a mile away, literally 5 minutes walk and she insisted that he was to drive her....well he refused because of course he wanted to have a drink and he never drinks and drives....she really lost her rag over it.....

maybe she is bluffing
Cabbagepatch

oh dear nanny, i foresee fireworks ahead.......
Bovey Belle

Oh dear Nanny . . . sounds like the holiday from hell coming up, instead of the relaxing holiday with your brother that you were looking forward to.  Oh dear.  And which of them will get the hammock in the loose-box?!!!

I wondered what that wailing from your direction was last night - now I know it was Mr Nanny going bolistic when he read your e-mail.  I can see why you didn't go and tell him personally . . .
