This time next week the evenings will start drawing in Shocked

I was just getting used to the late beautiful sunsets!!
Been pottering about the garden, K has been a godsend. Her boyfriend is coming to stay for a week Rolling Eyes

fortunately he doesn't eat as much as the other one did. Although I don't get my housekeeping till the 21st!!!! So could be interesting.
Currently nothing on the calandar for this week, so we can do what we please! Very Happy

I spent the weekend visiting people, waitressing and decorating (not all at the same time...) zzzzzzz!

J slept for 6 hours in a row last night! So I woke up knwing exactly how maggie's neck must feel!

We had a lovely weekend. There's only one thing left to do to the house. But still lots in the garden, so we've decided to wait until that's sorted. I feel better about living here now too.

T took J to see his grandparents without me yesterday - first time he's been someone without me. A sad, but also rather happy moment for me. I got to spend 90 mins in the garden - planted my potatoes -- finally, dug out a compost bin, tiidied a bit.

I have to phone the vet today about coming back to check Samson. He hasn't coughed since Thursday and felt very lively yestaerday Laughing

I am checking on him today but coming home to do the housework. I will not be on here Laughing

E comes home today, from her school trip, I am looking forward to seeing her.

Sounds like you've all had a busy weekend, pleased to hear that Samson is better Becki.

Aqui, Maggie came back from her loan home Very Fat and with a digital pulse. Bovey had to get the vet out and now she's on box rest with a little walking. They caught her just in time, it just means it'll be a wee bit longer before she comes to us.

Just sitting with a cup of tea after getting E off to school. I MUST plant my parsnips, sprouting brocoli and squashes today. I also want to get some more of my long waistcoat sewn. I did my own pattern (with help from a friend) and am making it with an old pair of curtains!

hello from a lovely sunny wales though a bit chill i must say, it was below freezing in sennybridge last night for heavens sake

no wonder my garden has stopped growing again

i wonder if there will be any crops at all this year

got most of my tawning solution done but will have to adjust the alum and salt and am now thinking about the actual bucking solution to remove hair on one skin to make proper buckskin

i like to live on the edge don't i?

also mr nanny bought me some carders so i can sort the one fleece i have and get that moving and think about spinning it somehow

loads going on here again, thought there was going to be nothing this week but it is filling up a bit.....

also now going into pre open day panic mode
