Last 3 days of September and the weather forecaster says it is going to get chilly as we go into October and I still haven't got the greenhouse sorted
Had a lovely though hectic weekend with K, got her sofa and all the other bits she wanted, bought her some bulbs tubs soil and violas and things as she wants some colour outside her window.
T is off today has a sore throat, you and I would cope with paracetamol but she won't be able to drive and although I have driven, I couldn't do swindon and back twice!!!!

Electrics back on! Spent the morning at the opticians, it does take a long time to do all the tests now. Came back and cleared out "under the arches" on the old steadings. Lots of rubbish, a dead dog, a live hare, which shot out between my legs and nearly gave me a heart attack, plus old rusty metal things and the likes!
The poor wee dog is now buried (looked like a whippet), it's been dead for many a year, god knows who left it there.
Dinner is being cooked by Greenlady's BF, he's a chef, vegetarian and a fabulous cook, what more could one ask for!

a dead dog? that would have upset me big time.....
here i am again, another day, another groat.....not really as i don't get paid...
anyway mr nanny and i went off early-ish to do a home check over near kidwelly today, stables to die for i have to say, very nice people as well..
from there we headed back to carmarthen where i undertook a bit of retail therapy - it's been a long time coming ....
don't know if i told you that our trip to the falklands has been cancelled...the islands have had a very bad year economically and the monies set aside for mr nanny's side of the trip has been diverted elsewhere by the shakelton trust...i can understand why but we were most disappointed as you can imagine...he is guaranteed a place next year but i doubt i will have the money then....
anyway
instead we are invited to the animal memorial service on 11th november at the memorial in park lane, london and we are going to that, might have to do a citation as well, don't know...it celebrates all the animals who have "served" in the conflicts..... but it meant that i had to get myself a new coat and a new pair of jeans were long over due so that's what we did today....
have to say it felt rather good to spend a bit of money on myself...i tend not to as i only have what is in my bank account and once that's gone i have nothing....i miss haveing my own money coming in and i telling mr nanny i will pay for something.....don't like being a kept woman
