Monday 7th July

Morning all  Very Happy

I feel pretty awful this morning - we had the grandbabies staying over the weekend and the smallest one has some sort of sickness bug which he's happily passed on to Grandad and Granny  Evil or Very Mad   So OH has been up most of the night being sick, and now I'm starting to feel rather queasy and hot-and-cold, on top of the not-much-sleep...I'm starting to feel I might not make it through the day at the office....

Hey ho, at least I got to watch the men's final at Wimbledon - it's the only sport I watch and it was a fantastic match - anyone else watch it?

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Morning potties

RWR - it's good to see you back. I was wondering where you were. Congrats to your daughter (5???!) And hope you make a full recovery soon.

Cookie - get well wishes to your resident. And I'm glad you managed to have a pleeasant and restful Sunday.

Nanny - wow - busy week. Good luck for Friday. Mr Nanny really doesn't know the meaning of day off, does he.

JC - hope you feel better soon. And if you've nt dne so already - go home.

Hectic weekend. Didn't feel like I got a lot done.

Saturday - spent the morning preparing for our afternoon house hunting. The only time it didn't rain all weekend was while we were out. First house (110ft garden, conservatory, loved on paper) didn't like at all. Weird karma. Didn't like the street it was on. Second one (evidentally recently vacated by an OAP) loved. Gaarden was a little on the small side (or maybe it just was after the other one). Felt really cosy and it charmed us. Needs a fair bit of work, though. Nice street too. Exhausted when we got back.

J actually slept through for the first time ever!!!! He slept from 9.30 until 5.30. Trouble was I was awake and thinking at 2.30. So I was exhausted yesterday and had to have an afternoon nap. Did the nappy wash and cooked dinner, that was it.

Now we just need someone to come along and buy this place.

We were going to go shopping today, but it's raining, so I don't want to.

Morning all.  Smile

JC, I used to watch the tennis avidly every year till I got rid of the tele. I kept an eye on the score via the wimbledon website, it was nailbiter and no mistake. I remember the epic match between McEnroe and Borg that broke the record for the longest match years ago. All the girls running onto the court with high heels on and Dan Maskell saying "Oooo I say" in that upper crust accent!

Aqui, I've got everything crossed for your house sale and house move. I'm quite good at the fingers crossed thing now, look what happened to Becki and Nanny...........................

Sun is shining, nothing planned, depends what E wants to do, have a good day everyone.  Smile
Becki

Not feeling brilliant again. I managed to do some tidying up and that has made me feel a bit better. I'm going to get an early night and see if that helps.

E was on T.V today and I managed to record the wrong channel Rolling Eyes Must see if anyone at school has got it.

Sports day tomorrow, if it dosn't get rained off.
Cabbagepatch

Feeling a bit under par too, I struggled through the day at work, came home and went to bed for an hour.  Just had something to eat, going to walk the dogs to see if some fresh air helps and then an early night for me as well.

Must be  this rain making us all go rusty  Confused

I actually felt really well today !   for a change. I was told at the hospital that you feel great after a blood transfusion. I do feel like I`ve got loads more energy. even so, I`m taking things slow;y. I`ve got a date for the colonoscopy, its july 20th, which I may have to change, as the day before we have something planned, and thats the day I  will have to take the laxitives.....................................
nanny

hi everybody

late again but we have not long been back from trying to trim a very long hooved and most uncooperative 3 yr old donkey......mr nanny did the back feet but the fronts were a definite no go area and they are so long they are turning up at the front....the animal just isn't going to have it done and that's it, he isn't frightened, a far as we know it has had no really bad experience, eeyore just doesn't want his feet trimmed and that is the end of it....

mr nanny danced with him for about half an hour and managed to rasp a few times on the fronts but in the end he realised that things were not going to happen quickly so got the animal to stand still while he rasped the hooves while the feet were on the ground thereby proving that he (mr nanny) had got his way and eeyore had not had his way completely

next move is to try again while eeyore is somewhat calmer due to some acp ......

it's all change for the week,

or at least for the latter half......today was indeed hay but also mr classic car and also trimming eeyore

tomorrow is as previously stated

wed is still the same i think but thurs and fri have changed because the horse trust aren't now coming till the 21st so no housework needed

still will go with mr nanny on sat and sunday because i want to....

rain more or less all day today, some of it heavy with blobs instead of rain drops.....had to pt al lmy laundry in the dryer which i don't particularly like doing but not choice really

sheep tomorrow, quite looking forward to that
Kathy

Never a dull moment Nanny!

E was a bit quiet today after her pony ride then developed tummy ache so she's been reading and sleeping most of the afternoon. I've taken my Father shopping, cooked dinner, walked the dogs, seen to the chooks and that's it really.

Hope everyone with the lurgy is feeling better tomorrow, RWR, pleased you're feeling livelier again.  Smile

Bed for me now, sleep well everyone.
