Monday 7th September

Mild and damp this morning.
I had a lovely weekend, went to visit K in her new home and hubby helped her with lots of bits and pieces, I was good and gave orders  Laughing  from the sofa (with my foot up) or the bed, of which ever room we where in!!!

She is very happy there and they have to maintain the garden which she is thrilled about as she loves gardening!! So lovely to see her happy and settled!

I have done a bit of hoovering this morning, can't stand the mess any longer! am resting now then will do a bit more and rest!
Kathy

Must be a relief for you Libby to see K settled, and to have a garden too, wonderful.  Very Happy
The sun is out here so I've been out harvesting pums. I've also washed down mouldy bits from some walls and cleaned the kitchen windows. Just going to decide what to do with the plums now.  Smile

Go and have another cup of tea....  Laughing  Laughing

I'm back at my desk after a surprisingly productive weekend - both OH and I managed to get some creative stuff done (him - stick dressing; me - cross-stitch) which feels good.  We don't seem to have had the time for crafty things for aaaages.

I've been to have some blood taken this morning - I'm having some tests done to see if we can establish why I'm tired ALL the time.  I hope we can get to the bottom of it - I've actually fallen asleep at work twice recently, which gets me well and truly laughed at I can tell you!

So far, it's been warm and sunny today - with a bit of luck it'll stay like this until I get home and I'll be able to mow the lawn ...  or get OH to do it while I cook!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

It's making fancy walking sticks, or the handle part anyway.  Usually he uses sheep or buffalo horn and a wood stick (hazel's good, and he's done a lovely holly one).  I'll see if I can dig out some photos....

Becki

Purple stuff is obviously a country wide name for it because we call it that Laughing great stuff indeed.
