Mr Kathy's multicolourHere are a couple of pics of his latest yarn produced while experimenting. He used woolcombs (not carders) to blend the fibre (merino, corriedale, icelandic and a bit of tencel). I've done a hat and mitts for Coco, will take photo when I can get her to pose! Mr Kathy is complaining about our old camera now but I did the best I could although the colours don't show up too well.

That's very good Kathy. I like the texture appearance, it makes it look like a very tactile wool.

Mmmm nice!
Get him to put them on the spinning forum too!
They are like sari silk but less itchy-looking.

I like that - very subtle - and warm and earthy - great texture and colour combinations.
I am missing out a lot by not knitting aren't I?

All my family were sitting in here knitting last night, it was very funny listening to all the muttered oaths about dropped stitches, and extra stitches! Lottie, I'm sure you could do it!
Thanks for the comments about the yarn. Mr Kathy had an idea in his head which didn't work out and he was left with all these small pieces of colour hence the multi colour!

I can remember how to knit, but not cast on! I'm still fancying the idea of cheating and using my mum's old knitting machine. I just remember the smell of it from when I was little, and the noise of the shuttle bit being pushed backwards and forwards...
