Nail

Big arrrrrrrrrrrr everybody.  Today I wasn't looking when I closed the car door, and trapped my small finger in it!!!!!!!!!  I pulled it out, and the door was closed tight.  I am lucky I still have my finger I think.  Don't need nail varnish on that finger as the nail is totally blue, and very sore.  Ow. Crying or Very sad  Mad   That will teach me.
Kathy

Ouch, I'm cringing here, poor you, have you got any arnica cream, that should help the bruising and pain.
Jojo

OH Janowl, that sounds painful, think you will lose that nail, at one of my Grandaughters birthday bowling party one of the little darling dropped a ball on my big toe, it was weeks later but my nail did come off Sad

I'm sure I will.  Just don't want it to get so bad that they have to drill the nail to release the bruising.  Ukkkkk

Ooooooooooooooo too much info (fingers in ears)

I had to have a finger nail drilled once, all though, it wasn't a drill they used, they heated up a paperclip, and pushed it through the black nail, to release the pressure.

Smelt horrible, but the relief was almost instant.

I popped along to the minor injuries today and they stuck a needle in my nail.  They had to make two holes,it feels a lot better now.  Just have to keep this silly plaster on that keeps getting wet, as it is still bleeding!!!!  The nurse said I may NOT lose the nail.  At least it doesn't hurt as much now.
Libby

OOOoooooooooooo sounds awful but glad it feels better  Very Happy

That must have hurt...poor you Sad
It reminds of the timme whne I was working in a and e. There was a big burly builder who came in with a similar injury. He was a bolshie so and so and wanted to jump the queue, because of course no-one had as much pain as him.  I was very sympathetic to him and explained in GREAT detail what they would do with the paperclip.........he turned green and promptly went into the gents loo!!!! He did'nt seem so keen on pushing in any more!!!! hahaha!!!
