At the weekend I braved the wind, and managed to flinally plant my onion sets!
Also garlic, but was concerned to find that 3 bulbs only gave me 32 cloves ... that's not nearly enough for this household!
Pricked out some winter lettuces and raddichio and whilst weeding the strawberries, I found some land cress so it looks as though I will have quite a reasonable selection of salad!
For the rest of the month I have a massive clear and tidy-up session planned, my son is itching for a bonfire, and then I have to move rhubard and dig out old rasps that have passed their sellby date !! I have plans for the soil they're in ... next years spuds!

just imagine a bunch of sunflowers in a vase at this time of year, how cool is that!!!! Those raspberries look pretty yummy too!!!
so it looks as though I will have quite a reasonable selection of salad!
