ok then, how do you make a rag rug?

?

or knit a rug? or whatever?
mogs

they are fantastic for recycling old material, be it wool or sheets or even carrier bags.........( great for wiping muddy boots )

each peg has a hole, thread the hole with string and leave to the length of rug you want.
then all you do is weave in and out of the pegs.....when the peg is full, lift it up and slide the weaving down the string.

simple.......

( actually i must be honest, it was an unashamed plug, i make them in my workshop...along with drop spindles etc ) i sell hundreds of them, all shapes, sizes and colours )

Ah I see! Can you only make a rug as wide as the loom?

How much are they?

I have plenty of scraps of wool, material and plastic bags!

you can join them together, but the length depends on how long you want it to be.

they range in price from £10 for up to an 18 inch.......£46 for a 36 inch plus P+P.

I have a little peg loom that I treated myself to at the Smallholders weekend at Builth this year. They are easy to use and great fun. Get cracking Aqui!
