I thought you would like to see this photo, which is very precious to me, my daughter sent it to me yesterday, she doesn`t have a computer, she lives in Spain, and has just got a new mobile phone, and she can send me photos to my computer !! This is my 2 grandaughters, and on the left is the little chinese girl my daughter is fostering at the moment

Ah, how did I miss this post! They are lovely Lyn, you must miss them dearly. Do you have any plans to visit them again soon? My niece and nephew are in australia, I saw my niece last when she was 3 (she's 9 now) and I've never met my nephew (he's 6). And my mother lives in SA and she's never met either of my children. It's really hard being so far away from family.

I was hoping to go next year, but I wont be able to afford it now, I want to try to pay off a credit card ! Maybe the year after, I know the flights are quite cheap, but its the money you have to take with you.
I miss them terribly, its not so bad as it used to be, my daughter has been there for 15 years. and I used to cry every day for her.
I dont do this anymore, but certain things can set me off, like adverts on tv of families meeting at the airport , theres one on at the moment for Christmas. I hate Christmas without her as well, i always phone her on Christmas day, i dont phone her very often, as she only has a mobile phone, and it costs the earth. She hasn`t been back to England since she left, but I live in hope !
