It was one of the ruins Cromwell knocked about a bit - or at least, wasn't too ruinous until his bods came along and had a lot of trouble in Laugharne:

Oh look at that writing room, I can just imagine someone writing there, the scrumpled bits of paper on the floor. Very picturesque place, what a lovely place to visit.

My OH. has been looking at the photos BB. She spent a week there and didn't stop talking about it for a week, Milk wood,etc.etc.

I thought the empty bottles on the desk in Dylan's writing room said it all! It's very atmospheric and set up by the Museum colleagues. You'll get there eventually Nanny - and it will be worth the wait. Kidwelly Castle is wonderful too (very well preserved). Somewhere else to add to your list.

Thankyou GW - although it was difficult as the angles I wanted to get on some of the photos were all towards the sun (as you may have noticed!) Got the atmosphere of the place anyway : )
