Yes indeed Acer Platanoides, the Norway Maple, is one tree that I would aspire to adding to my garden.

I just love my Acer Pseudoplatanus 'Brilliantissimum' in Spring when it is in its first flush of salmon pink leaves but Acer Platanoides 'Crimson King' to enjoy its deep redish/purple leaves turning yellow in Autumn is for the future.
