pork hock joint ?Does anyone have a recipe for a pork hock joint please ? I just bought 2 in Tescos, and they were half price, only £1.87 each, but not sure what to do with them

I can't truly remember, but think I may have slow cooked them with herbs?

i used to buy them as they were really cheap
i boned them, stuffed them with sage and onion and then tied them up and slow roasted them i think
haven't done it for years......

Slow cooker with stock and a packet of those dried mixed beans.

what type of stock would you use other than pork
cider perhaps or a splonge of white wine?

cider works really well with pork.
