puff pastry

Have you got a tried and tested recipe for puff pastry?

And would it work if I use white vegetable fat instead of butter/lard/whatever as I'm almost vegan now.

I make it with Biona marg but it tends to come out more like flaky pastry than puff as the marg is quite soft even when refridgerated. I think a firmer fat like Pura (white veg fat) would work better but I've not tried it.  Smile
