My goodness I presume you are up a hill from this? Does that mean you have a hill behind so all flows down through your garden/house or is it not that bad??

We have hills behinds us Libby but the only place the water comes in is the old kitchen as it's set below ground level. It drys pretty quickly with the old range in there. It does run through those old buildings behind us though(where the hens are), all the drainage pipes will be pretty rotten now I would imagine. The area was on BBC news, a woman and children had to be rescued just down the road from us and you can see the damage where walls have come down and half the road is washed away.
