Richies Grandaughter Sharrai...We had a most horrid call this evening from Richies Daughter, Sharrai her youngest (Richies Grandaughter) had the most terrible accident. Luckly Lisa flew into action before the ambulance arrived.
Bless her 10% burns by accidentaly knocking over a cup of tea. She's ok but our hearts stopped when we heard the news.
She's comftable now thank god's and full of life so here's hopeing she'll get better very soon

My nephew had similar injuries when he was about the same age, & although not nice at all he has made a ful recovery, it took time but he got there in the end...
Hope she stays comfortable & makes as good a recovery...

cups of tea and coffe are scarily easily spilt around little ones hope she is feeling better soon

Awww, what a shame bless her cotton socks. She'll be a bit more careful around hot cups in future I reckon, hope she recovers quickly.

"Sharrai is looking much better today. She had her dressings redone and has to go back to the hospital on thursday. Looks like there will be no permenant scarring so we are all happy bunnies!!"
Was such a shock when we got the call though as you can imagine, Burns to me are one of the worst wounds you can have in my mind
I have to agree though with Kathy, she will no doubt have learnt a valuable lesson near hot things unfortunatly it happens to the best of us at one time or another I'm just so so glad no serious damage was caused to her
