Kitchens then, for the weekend, then back to bathrooms on Monday!

Wipe down all your surfaces, with that ever you usually use.

Pull everything out bit by bit, wipe down, dry and replace. Do not empty the whole kitchen in one hit, you will never put it away again!

Also, do the tea / kettle area. top up containers, wipe the kettle and/or tray, bleach any tea stains, if the counter will take a drop.

Finally, give the sink a good going over with some washing up liquid and a soft cloth, if there is chance of scratching, otherwise what ever you usually use. Polish it dry afterwards.

It looks as though we are finally getting the house ready to put on the market so everything is extra clean, sparkly and clutter is being recycled, sent to the charity shops or disposed of Very Happy

The kitchen has been done even allowing for the mess involved in a baking session by my daughter.

As a preventative measure to avoid the crisis we had last night it's also good to remove the U bend under the sink and remove the gunk from the greasetrap inside it. Then put it through the dishwasher to get it really really clean, and replace. Then use a caustic soda mix down the plug hole to clean out the drainage plumbing.

That way you won't get caught out with a blocked sink. Wink

I will also point out that Lloyd was doing the sink when I saw him in his van at the weekend!
