Saturday 10th October

Its is a beautiful day here. I am doing washing!!!!!!

We had a lovely afternoon together Jacky and I, homemade soup, fresh bread, knitting, crochet and nattering. We nipped out and I even showed her where Robbie Williams new house was!!

Today T is with hubbie driving up to Worcester to stay overnight with K she is having a party. Tomorrow we are going back up to collect T, have sunday lunch and I have to do some sewing for her so must take my machine!!
T had her assessment yesterday, this is to see which direction she should go in, they felt they couldn't advance her in her illustration and have suggested 'textiles' which is not just materials but anything really, she has made the most beautiful wire mask which they raved about!!!
I can see jewellery making a possibility of the future  Very Happy

Off to do stuff.................

What a busy day, where to start?.....Um, emptied bins and recycling bags, depooed lawn, emptied de-pooer into sack and thence to bin, then up to the farm with trailer. We dropped three or four trees, jointed them, drove home and logged them up and stashed away for winter fuel. I also defrosted two legs of venison and am currently smoking one having boned it out, it will end up as Smoked Venison Christmas pate, while the other is marinating for tomorrow's evening meal. CP's done the ironing and lit the fire, we went down the lotty and planted 40 broad bean seedlings, we washed hung out and dried two loads of washing..........Fairly busy really.

Dog walking next, then maybe play mothers and fathers, as the kidlet is going out soon......................
Pilsbury

Up at 6am to drive to cressing temple Barns and set up the stall with the Jerky, Biltong and mushroom munchies, spent the day serving, chatting and networking and just got home, took enough to cover our costs and a little bit more(£40), but still got all day tomorrow to make a profit, just sitting down to the maccharoni cheese we prepared ready for tonight and trying out a few new suggestions we had at the show.

All in all a good day!

Nice one Pilsbury. You've coverred your costs, made a small return, have all day tomorrow ahead of you, and I suspect, word of mouth going out now doing your marketing for you. Good luck for Sunday Tony.

Cheers, just put our first ever fruit leathers into the dryers to test them out.

He may start making more money now then. My venison slices are still smoking nicely outside, am now unsure how they'll end up. Maybe some in pate, and some as jerky........Hm....Can't decide................
