Summers day here, a quick hello to all, I'm off back out again!  Laughing
nanny-now and forever

brilliant day here as well

warm and sunny, hardly a cloud in the sky

only 1 young volunteer and mr nanny today so i gave a hand front of house to keep things moving ......

once the mucking out and all that was done and the visitors seen, it was time to ride ebony again...she is a really nice animal, quite like her,l in fact she is the only one i have felt i would want to ride somewhere to be honest but first we have to sort her feet out...we think she is another one with a balance problem, why we don't know....her front legs are definitely shorter than her back ones as well, most bizarre...makes her trot very odd as her back legs are doing one cadence and her front ones going faster.......mr nanny then did a bit of handling with branble, just putting a saddle on her back to start to get her used to it when we train her next year....

from there it was another pearl session......not filmed this time....she was as amiable as ever of course ....this time mr nanny used a glove tied to a stick to see if it was the hand that worried her...it does seem to be that as he can go all the way down her leg with a stick but she won't have the other at all....today it was rearing that she tried, one day she will run out of repetoire i suppose....she was certainly tired at the end of it all....

from then on it was normal stuff, dog walking and all that..all done in the sunshine, makes you feel so much better about life....
