Saturday 3rd May

And what appears to be the middle of the night.  The dogs barking woke me up, couldnt get back to sleep so have given up and come downstairs for a hot drink.

Should I stay up now and get on with the day or slither back to bed for another couple of hours?  Decisions decisions.

Anyway I hope everyone has nice Bank Holiday plans.

Night night Potties!
Libby

Its horrible when that happens CP I hope you slithered back to bed!!

Yesterday was dry and they said it would rain so never did any washing today they say it will rain again but now I have to do washing as the wash basket is so full!!! Confused No rest for the wicked!
Lots of silly things today!! Been looking at bark chippings for the garden, thought I would let you know that buying those bulk bags is not necessarily cheaper, especially if you price it to cost per litre. The 60/80 litre bags are very expensive, 100 litres seem to be the best.
A useless piece of information to start the day with!!!
Kathy

Not useless if you're buying bark chippings Libby!

CP that is an ungodly hour to be getting up, hope you went back to bed!

Better not hang around, I've got things to do for this party!

Have good weekend everyone.  Smile

i've had a cracking day up here, outside for all of it doing my thing

sewed lots of seeds, put my bean poles up and managed to get the third plot panelled off and removed what i cna only call a boulder in the process....how i missed that one when i dug the plot is a mystery but i certainly manbaged to find it when i was trying to put the net panel up

must of weighed 20 lbs.  anyway it's out now

finished everything i was going to do about 5 so called it a day as the weather had turned very windy and cloudy .....feels like rain to me

well i have done it now........we have been asked to go and give a talk on animal cruelty and welfare to a load of 7-10 yr old brownies and i said i would go along with the groom and help her

can you imagine me in a room for 45 minutes with a load of 7-10 yr old giggling girls................i may have to think of an excuse not to go.......

rather go to hell in a hand cart frankly

Had my riding lesson with eldest, I was on a youngster, quite chuffed they trusted me. Youngest did well in her lesson then came home and changed so youngest could have a one to one swimming lesson as eldest played in the pool.

Have done a few hours of family history its surprising what you find out.

Oh Kathy forgot. 15 years ago I was mangled in a car by a drunk driver, my right foot was crushed by the engine. It was rebuilt as best as, but it's mine and it's attached what more can I want?
Kathy

Goodness TGM, well done you then for overcoming such adversity. Smile

Party is over, last kid finally left at 6.30, thought the Dad was never going to take him home, it was supposed to finish at 4.30. Rolling Eyes
Greenlady has her first talk tomorrow, making herbal creams. She has been making cream kits for people to buy and make their own. I've been printing, folding and cutting her leaflets and business cards all evening. Mr Kathy has been on tea making duties!

Nanny, I'm in hysterics at the thought of you and the Brownies, is anyone taking a camera....................
Becki

Just got in from work. I am shattered. I will have to take it easy tomorrow my legs are really playing up. I was in the kiosk from 4.30, on my feet for most of it and I have moved 8 wheelbarrows of horse poo from the field so far. Probably only another 8 to go Laughing
