I went last year, and camped over, meeting some people from downsizer.
I really enjoyed the wonderwool exhibit there too, but that was on a different date this year.
It is quite a way to come though, and it is on the same weekend os Devon County, which I am going to instead!

Oh shoot, Nanny - I'm sorry I'm going to miss the AGM, but I hope you will keep me updated . . . It's a great day out at the Smallholders and always lots to see and totally different events in the little side-ring - parade of old tractors, dog agility, heavy horses working, falconry displays etc in the past. Great garden displays too and excellent offers on plants (4 clematis for £10 isn't to be sneezed at either).
Mogs - I could try and wear a silly hat and see if you can spot me if you like! If you like, we could meet up somewhere, though if you've got your other "meet" it might be difficult to organise as you might be chatting 50 to the dozen and not want to stop!
CP - are you definitely going then?

hopefully see somebody there then.....how will you know me i wonder......
i shall be the one looking bemused as i haven't seen that many people in some time what with living up here amongst the wild things.......

I can recommend the Venison burgers for starters, and if you don't have enough poultry, well, there will be enough and plenty besides for sale. Last year was such temptation, I had to sit on my hands as OH has said no more poultry (rotter).

maybe we should all swap mobile numbers, that way we can ring to see if others are there and where they are at the show?

mogs, When I first met up with Debbie, from Hidden Valley pigs, from River Cottage forum, (and here I think) we were both on the phone, either side of a horse box, trying to find each other. It would have been quite funny to watch us, as we bothed walked round it at the same time looking for, and missing each other.
We did get together in the end though.

i had arranged to meet up with a few people on the sunday......lol....
one of them rang me and asked where i was....so i said ' by the goats '
her reply was ' where are the goats ?'
so i was explaining to her, if she could see a red lorry, the goatshed was at the back of that......
next thing i know there was a little woman in front of me threateneing to hit me with my stick.....fofl....it was her......she was lovely and we have stayed in touch via pms' and i am going to visit her in Aberystwyth very soon......we have been chatting for a while on forums, and it was really nice to meet her....we hit it off straight away......
