No idea, although Cp uses an excellent wind up torch that we would fully endorse.

My wind up torch is brilliant. Think power cut, torch doesn't work
Grab wind up torch, give it a whirl and off you go. No need ever to be caught out by power cuts

I saw a wind-up torch that was a phone charger last week at a big garden centre - it was £20 and given the number of times we 'leave' torches around I decided not to get it
I've never seen a solar powered phone charger but it would be something that I would think about getting.

Kaz, I got an expensive wind up torch several years ago after an interesting camping experience in West wales with my brother and his family
I love it, its still going strong and I take it everywhere with me.
However since then, there seems to be lots of much cheaper wind ups on the market, we've just bought a couple. Will be interesting to see if they last as well.
Know what you mean about losing the things all the time though....

OK I'm tempted now. I think I'll call in Woolies tomorrow to see if there are any left.
